USPS Postal Address API

To access the USPS's API, you must have an address and a postal code. Addresses can be obtained either by entering the postal code, or by using a country-specific sorting code. This sorting code is either a number or a string, such as "CEDEX" for the Republic of Korea. In Jamaica, it can represent a sector code, or a delivery area indicator for the Republic of Malawi. In Cote d'Ivoire, a postal code can be a post office, or a city identifier, depending on the region.

While there is no definitive standard for what a ZIP code is, most major shipping carriers in North America have their own ZIP codes API. The USPS, Canada Post, FedEx, DHL, and UPS all maintain APIs for the country's ZIP code. These APIs include state-level abbreviations and postal codes. While these codes have been around for a while, they have become a very important part of expedient mail delivery.

The Free World Wide Postal PIN Code Search API allows developers to access the details of a particular Post Office. The response from the API is in JSON format, with the "status" and "message" fields set to TRUE or FALSE, respectively. As with any other API, this one has no limits on the number of requests and can be used for commercial or non-commercial purposes. The free version of this API is available for commercial and non-commercial use.
